Voicebased processes
In Voice based processes, BPO employees interact with customers of their clients abroad through telephone to market goods and services, provide and elicit information and resolve their issues. In this process there are two kinds of calls, inbound and outbound calls.
Non-Voice based processes
This process does not require agents to interact with customers through telephone. Tasks processed under non-voice based services are classified as interactive and non-interactive based processes.

Some of the outsourced works requires domain expertise, research and analytical skills to process and these tasks are grouped under Knowledge Process Outsourcing. Some of the processes which come under this category are R&D (Research and development), Market/financial analysis, content development; web designing, legal service, Engineering component designing, etc.
